Hi, my name is Betsy.
I am a writer who has dabbled in just about everything. Write now (get it? Write, not right?) I am working on a series of historical fiction books along with my freelancing work for a few local publications.
At the end of 2020 I decided to leave my “traditional” job, one of many in the past decade that truly hurt to work at, to focus on being a creative. It’s been a bumpy ride where I feel as though I haven’t accomplished as much as I should have, but I keep going. Aside from writing I also love photography, specifically 35mm and instant.

Did I mention in 2021 I became a first time mom? My son came in September and he is a delight; seriously the best kid a mom could ask for. So I keep going for him. My strongest desire is to show my child that not only can you enjoy work, you should.
